OUR APPROACH
The GAI approach to a new venture usually involves four steps:
- Analyze and help structure project or enterprise strategy
- Build team of principal organizations with financial and operational
resources and associates with regional expertise, engineering, management, or marketing specialties
- Commit and gather equity capital, providing mezzanine funding.
- Follow through persistently to close of venture
As a founding partner of FLAG Telecom (Fiber-optic Link Around the Globe), GAI brought together Bell Atlantic Network Systems (USA) (now Verizon), Marubeni (Japan) and the Dallah-Al Baraka Group (Saudi Arabia) to establish a $1.8 billion undersea fiber-optic cable from the United Kingdom to Japan via Egypt.
GAI joined with the world's most diversified manufacturer of security products (NAPCO Security Systems, Inc.) to form NAPCO Gulf Security Group in Dubai. Its business has been to establish distributorships that bid on the security components of public and private facilities projects throughout the region.
GAI has also provided consulting services to Summit Filter Corporation and Shaffer Products, Inc., on export opportunities. Summit is a manufacturer and global seller of high quality filter media for recovery and air pollution control. Shaffer Product fabricates stock and custom filter bags. Both offer sales and technical services worldwide.
